Hi guys,

I was reading posts people have posted previously and saw a user who posted about grey hair being caused by stress. Some said that yes it can others genetics. So I search on google and found the following video which was posted this past week:

it mentions that going grey can be signs of heart disease in men. WTF??? Is this for real I began to panic a bit because lately I’ve notice that myself have gone a bit grey around my beard and certain areas in my head.

Can someone elaborate this Jeff? Anyone ? Do I need to really get my heart checked up again because I’m 37 and I don’t recall having genetics about this ? Pls help pls I literally am going crazy now.

I watched less than 2 minutes of this video before I decided that it was a waste of my time.  First of all, on google you can find symptoms that you are dying of pretty much any disease you can think of and some you have never heard of.  If you think you have a heart problem, take it to a real doctor and stay off the internet.  Especially if you suffer from p/a!

I recently went to a neurologist. He told me he loves WebMD, I asked him why?

“It pays my rent”.

I could find some truth in this article, because my father died with a full head of gray hair at 86. Technically you only have 50 years to live.

Thank you Kelly for your response. I’ve had my heart checked out years ago and all was normal but because I feel all the sensations rolling around still and I’m becoming grey this article put my skin on the edge.

jonmike; how so?

steve; so you’re saying this article
is bolognie?

You can pick any topic with any outcome you are looking for and find a "report" that will back it up.  Doesn't mean it's true.  You need to look at creditable sources IF you are going to look at anything.  For someone with p/a the internet can be a terrible place of lies, hype, things to get you all worked up in general.

You said you were checked out and fine.  Then let's look at this realistically.  Are you going to let a real dr and medical testing be questioned because "someone" on the internet said you have heart issues because you are going gray?

I bet if you look you can find research saying people with heart troubles have wrinkles too.  Sorry not trying to be funny but you have to stop reading nonsense like this.  There is no point to it.

Kelly,

I agree but theres always those thoughts that come to mind whenever i see articles like these i know i should just ignore these things since anyone can have written them and interpret them in their own way and whatnot but i become fearful even though yes ive been checked out. like last night i laid in bed and was feeling my heart beat in my throat and thought what could this be and i couldnt fall asleep until i did and woke up suddenly thinking was i asleep?
